Inspire Commercial

A glimpse into the life of a 19th century coal miner who gets sick and worn from his labors. When he can no longer work, he passes his pickaxe to his son to carry on the family legacy of working in the mine. As the son stands at the mouth of the dark mine, it’s his choice whether to continue the dangerous and harmful work of mining or to leave it behind for something greater.

The Inspire Commercial was a short commercial about switching to renewable energy sources. Directed by Nico Rinciari and produced by Colin Schostak, it was a great learning experience leading the G&E department as Key Grip. We filmed in the Fall of 2018 in an old mine in South Carolina which was one of the most beautiful locations I have had the chance to film.
